A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd’s Audio division has sold a Nexo GEO S12 Series vertical line array loudspeaker system to Leeds based rental company Futurist Sound & Light, for use on clients’ concerts, tours and other live events. An accredited UK dealer for the NEXO professional range, the deal was handled by the A.C. Audio division’s sales manager, Peter Butler from the company’s northern office in Leeds.
Futurist has been a long-term customer of AC-ET, and over the past 3 years has called upon the entertainment technology distributor’s expertise to source a range of lighting, sound and rigging equipment.
“We listened to several systems and compared all the features before purchasing.” explains Jamie. “Peter Butler and his team from A.C. Audio were extremely helpful in setting up demos at their warehouse. We already knew that their service and technical support was excellent, so that, plus the great sonic performance of the NEXO helped us make our decision.”
This follows on from Futurist’s recent purchase of a new Shure PSM900 in-ear-monitoring system also supplied by AC-ET, which went straight out on tour with chart topping boyband, The Wanted.
The GEO S1230 and GEO S1210 speakers are the newest additions to NEXO’s internationally successful GEO S Series of tangent-array loudspeakers. Designed for both fixed and portable installations, they are a cost-effective solution for all high-performance foreground reinforcement applications. NEXO recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of speaker systems for the concert, touring and installation markets.
Futurist’s new NEXO system is already lined up to be used on several major live events, including a UK boxing tour. In addition to servicing their own clients, buying into a leading brand like NEXO will give Futurist access to the healthy cross rental market that exists in Yorkshire and the North West, as well as further afield.
