A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) Ltd.’s Lighting division will be hosting a dedicated open day event in conjunction with Zero 88 to showcase the UK manufacturer’s latest innovative lighting control technologies, including the recently launched Orb XF and Solution lighting consoles, the ZeroWire CRMX series of wireless transmitters and receivers and Ethernet / DMX splitter solutions.
The Open Day will be held on Wednesday 4th July in Leeds at AC-ET’s state-of-the-art demo facilities.
As one of the major UK distributors for Zero 88, AC-ET is inviting interested parties to pop in to the informal all-day event, which runs from 11am to 4pm and is geared towards all levels of user.
Zero 88 has been designing and delivering innovative entertainment lighting control solutions for over 40 years which have been hugely successful in professional and amateur theatre, education and rental markets. The newest Zero 88 lighting technologies featured by AC-ET are ideal for multiple applications across all these sectors.
The Open Day will comprise of a full Zero 88 product range overview, followed by comprehensive ‘hands-on’ training with the latest key products, allowing attendees the chance to discover for themselves the great features and functionality on offer.
AC-ET and Zero 88 staff will be on hand throughout the day, sharing their vast collective knowledge and expertise covering all lighting disciplines.
The Orb XF builds on the Zero 88’s Orb lighting console, adding fader control for intensity channels and live sub-master playback, making it ideal for live events. It combines theatrical syntax with 60 multifunctional faders for control of both moving lights and dimmer channels.
The Solution lighting desk is a rugged, feature-packed console built on the very stable ZerOS software architecture. It offers simple, hands-on control of generic dimmed lightsources and moving lights for up to 248 devices across 2048 channels, with submaster and cue-stack control. For larger multi-purpose venues, the Solution XL can control 296 devices and has 600 submasters.
The ZeroWire CRMX Wireless range of transmitters and receivers has been developed specifically for lighting industry needs, and is based on technology that avoids interference by using cognitive frequency-hopping techniques. This makes it extremely robust even in environments saturated with wireless traffic.
The Open Day will also demonstrate remote operation of Zero 88 lighting consoles using the latest Apple and Android devices, and feature other models from its various ranges.
The AC-ET Open Day is completely free and will include refreshments throughout the day.
