The A.C. Entertainment Technologies stand (S-C3) at PLASA Focus 2011 will feature innovative new lighting solutions from Jands, Chroma-Q™, GLP and Anytronics, with many of the innovations making their UK tradeshow debut.
In addition, staff from the AC-ET’s specialist lighting, audio, rigging and video sales divisions will be on hand to discuss the vast, multi-million pound stockholding of over 200 leading brands available from the company’s High Wycombe and Leeds offices.
Jands Vista v2
Exclusively distributed in Europe and the Middle East by AC-ET, the show sees the UK launch of the new Jands Vista v2 software. After three years of intense development, extensive testing and finally, use on several major shows and events by beta-testers worldwide, the software is now factory-standard with new Vista consoles and available as a free upgrade to existing users.
As well as a revamped visual interface, Vista v2 introduces a host of features, including tracking backup – which instantly switches control to a synchronised second console or PC; integrated media server control – including automatic thumbnail import of content from most industry standard media servers; matrix and video effects – that run intensity, colour, movement and even video files across LEDs or other multi-cell fixture types arranged in columns and rows; and default and split fade times, which provides quick and easy setting / editing of cue timings, including separate up and down times for intensity. Chroma-Q Studio Force
There’s also a preview of the new Chroma-Q Studio Force™ V (Variable white 2,900K – 6,000K CCT) and D (Daylight white 6,000K CCT) LED fixtures, which are distributed by AC-ET.
Featuring an extreme output from 5,000 – 28,000 lumens across the range, the products were specifically developed for TV, broadcast, fashion shows and other applications normally utilising bright daylight or tungsten fixtures. Both versions are available in a choice of 48″ and 72″ battens, as well as a 12″ multi-purpose unit, and utilise the same core technologies as the innovative Color Force™ RGBA LED range launched last year. As the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for German Lighting Products (GLP), AC-ET will showcase the recently launched GLP Spot One – a high power, fully featured spot fixture with LED source. Utilising a powerful 400 watt RGB LED chipset, the Spot One harnesses enough output to run it through the unit’s optical system, creating an even beam for RGB colour mixing and achieving a focusable area for gobo projections. The result is incredibly delicate colour changes ranging from soft pastel colours to deep saturated shades, and instantaneous colour bumps. Other features include a 10° to 32° motorised zoom, two rotating indexable gobo wheels, prism, iris and effects wheel, and extremely quiet operation suitable for theatres and other noise-sensitive environments.
AC-ET will also preview the new Anytronics LightFlo, a multi-purpose fixture featuring separate banks of four daylight and four tungsten fluorescent light sources that can be used independently or mixed together. Designed for broadcast, TV and studio lighting applications, the fixture is also ideal for green screen / blue screen illumination, as a top soft lighting source and for illuminating subjects.
In addition, the AC-ET stand will showcase a selection of the company’s associated in-house services, which include a huge bargain stockholding of used equipment, custom colour filter and cable manufacturing facilities, lamps and other essential consumables, daily worldwide dispatch and emergency out of hours service, demos, training and servicing.
