Adlib is staging a ‘Day of Audio Excellence’ at the O2 Forum venue in London’s Kentish Town, on Wednesday 2nd March 2016 … in association with CODA Audio and DiGiCo.
The event will feature two sessions, starting at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. respectively, and is designed to illustrate the power and elegance of CODA Audio’s innovative line array concepts, including the new AiRAY line array sound, together with their popular ViRAY and TiRAY systems, all of which will be working together with DiGiCo’s range of flexible control solutions.
Interested parties can register for sessions online at http://www.adlib.co.uk/events/
Adlib, among the UK’s leading entertainment audio specialists, is a distributor for CODA’s ‘RAY’ ranges, and – as of summer 2015 – a dealer for DiGiCo products, and both brands are supporting Adlib at this event.
The two sessions will feature presentations from CODA’s Paul Ward and DiGiCo’s Tim Shaxton, complete with live multi-track demos from FOH engineer Ian Nelson who is also a product specialist for CODA and DiGiCo.
The Adlib team will be on-hand to answer questions and demonstrate exactly what can be achieved using these innovative products.
Says Adlib’s John Hughes, “It’s a great opportunity to audition all three CODA loudspeaker options side-by-side with a variety of sources, which will include a live performer in addition to the selection of playback sources – utilising a variety of DiGiCo consoles from the S21 through to the flagship SD7”.
The idea of hosting the ‘Day of Audio Excellence’ stemmed from the successful UK launch of the AiRAY at Liverpool Arena, also instigated by Adlib.
The game-changing AiRAY combines all the advantages of a compact system such as size, light weight and easy rigging with the high SPLs of a much larger system.
Feedback following the launch indicated plenty of scope for a similar event to be hosted in London to illustrate the capabilities of the products live, in-situ and first hand in an authentic setting.
The event will raise awareness of the quality and convenience of using CODA and DiGiCo to provide tailor made solutions for touring and installation scenarios, and will be of interest to sound engineers, production managers, venue technicians, consultants and event companies.
