March 24th to 27th will see Cooper Controls showcasing their latest lighting control products including exclusive previews of the ZerOS iPhone remote and Version 5.4 ZerOS software, plus the State Automation advanced phase control and sinewave high density dimming solutions.
ZerOS iPhone Remote
Following the announcement of a new structure and strategy for the performance entertainment marketplace earlier this year Cooper Controls are pleased introduce the first its new suite of control products at Pro Light & Sound – the ZerOS iPhone Remote App.
This application allows users to remotely control the ZerOS consoles using a standard wireless network. The ZerOS iPhone Remote works with the ORB, Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96 and Frog 2 consoles and offers the following functions:
- Keypad/Fader channel control for adjusting channels from stage – ideal for focus sessions
- Access to Palettes, Groups and Macros – easily preview even complex looks from the remote
- Remote wheel control functionality – now you can adjust your palettes whilst walking around the stage
- Output Window view – check the level of channels without having to bother the board op
- Cue Playback – you could even run your show from the bar!
The application is just finalising its testing phase and will be available in the App Store soon.
State Automation
Cooper Controls will be introducing the State Automation range to the European marketplace at Pro Light & Sound and demonstrating why more and more venues are choosing State Automation for their high density dimming requirements.
State Automation’s Solution Optical Fibre Dimmer Racks are the first fixed installation racks with an integrated optical fibre Ethernet connection.
96, 72 & 48 channel versions of the Solution Optical Fibre series are available with options for 1.2kW, 2.5kW, 3kW, 5kW or 10kW per channel. Circuit protection is offered as 1P+N circuit breakers or RCBO’s.
The Solution series is capable of receiving multiple network DMX signals from up to four individual sources. They report the real-time status of three-phase current and voltage, fan operating status and other operating parameters of individual channels. Remote monitoring and control is also possible from multiple locations.
Dimmer modules may be phase control, advanced phase control (APC), Reverse Phase Control (RPC) or sine wave (VST). The Solution series offers intelligent dynamic soft-start, voltage regulation and high resolution triggering for smooth dimming curves.
Also at the show:
- Zero 88’s range of lighting control consoles that can control both generic and moving lights including ORB, Leap Frog 48, Jester ML24 and Jester TLXtra
- LightFactory PC lighting control featuring Version 2 softweare and new restyled programming / playback wings
