The new year sees Audio-Technica launching two new headphone models designed for both affordability and high performance. The stylish ATH-T200 and ATH-T300 update the existing ATH-T22 and ATH-T44 models and offer real comfort combined with a rewarding listening experience.
Both new headphones feature dual headbands to allow for perfect fit, while a soft support system reduces pressure on the head, making the T200 and T300 ideal for extending listening. In addition, the over-the-ear earpads are plush and ensure that sound leak is minimised.
Other specifications shared by the T200 and T300 include 40mm drivers for smooth, deep low-end response and high-end clarity and a generous 3m cable. Connection is via mini-jack plug, with both headphones shipping with a mini-jack to ¼” adaptor.
The T300 also benefits from a copper clad aluminium wire (CCAW) driver – the strength and conductivity of the copper coating combined with the lightweight core of aluminium leads to an extended (and more defined) bass response.
Suggested retail prices for the new headphones are as follows:
T200: £25 (inc VAT), €28 (ex VAT)
T300: £39 (inc VAT), €39 (ex VAT)
