Leading European trussing manufacturer MILOS will have another eye-catching stand – 1-G50 – at the PLASA 2009 exhibition at Earls Court, London in September, which will be constructed from their MT2 Towers and QuickTruss products.
The stand will feature a whole range of MILOS’ trussing, roofing and staging ranges.
Of particular interest will be the new products including MILOS’ C3 crowd barrier system, a stylish, lightweight, modular crowd control system available in a wide range of sizes and angles. The robust construction has a completely foldable design for rapid and easy set-up and breakdown, and can be built into numerous configurations using a selection of the standard module sections.
Also new is the latest S8 Xstage modular staging system, which builds on MILOS’ existing products in the range. S8 features a new profile available for compatibility with plug-in legs and scaffolding.
MILOS S4 Xstage will also be prominent, and has proved an ideal option for all types of events – large and small – needing temporary staging. It has a unique floor height adjustability between 1m and 2.5m. Xstages are robustly engineered and highly flexible, and as with all MILOS products, the speed of deployment is inherent in the design and one of the huge advantages of the system. The S4 Xstage uses a new connection system based on scaffolding principles, making building very fast and easy. The Xstage range includes smaller options as well, S2 and S3, which will also be highlighted at the show.
The Cell500 is an innovative new light duty cell for clamping loads onto trussing, roofing or scaffolding, and is perfect for use with lighting fixtures of up to 50kg. It’s made from tensile aluminium alloy and has professional micro-percussion marking, together with a highly polished finish, ideal for exhibition and light duty uses.
MILOS QuickTruss is one of the company’s most successful products, and is also available in a number of sizes – from the M222 to the M950 – according to application and required weight loadings. There will be examples of all of these on the stand.
The latest and largest system in the range is the M950, designed for maximum loading and with long free-span characteristics. In true MILOS style, it redefines the perception that `big is slow` using the proven QuickTruss technology for the fast and secure assembly of components.
The stand will have a truly international flavour with sales teams from MILOS SRO in the Czech Republic, MILOS UK and MILOS America to assist people and introduce new products. They will also be able to discuss the many custom and special projects that MILOS also undertake, including the manufacture of complete bespoke systems or individual components.
