Flightcase and speaker cabinet solutions specialists Penn Elcom will exhibit this year together with group brands CLD, Pro Audio Stash and Rackz on a single integrated booth. See them on stand number 1-B15.
This co-ordinated show format highlights the synergy between all the elements of the Penn Elcom Group, all with their justly deserved reputations as global market leaders in their fields.
This year’s major highlight will be live demonstrations of Penn’s innovative new CaseDesigner software running throughout the exhibition.
Launched at Prolight + Sound 2012 in Frankfurt, CaseDesigner has proved a runaway success with case makers throughout Europe, with an extraordinary number of licenses already issued.
CaseDesigner
This ground-breaking software programme gives a whole new dimension to flight case design and production.
Always at the cutting edge of this specialist industry, Penn Elcom has developed this completely unique tool to offer case makers and their clients an impressive new and efficient design, order, calculate and build programme.
A fully visual graphical interface enables Penn Elcom customers to plan and visualise new case designs in both 2D and 3D, and view the completed design in full 360 degree rotation.
The programme can simultaneously provide all the necessary costing and production data for the manufacturer, together with instant pricing for his client, and will also generate quotation, order acknowledgement, delivery note and invoice documents.
Rackz
19 inch rack design, manufacture and installation specialists Rackz will use PLASA 2012 to launch a new range of high specification wall mounting rack enclosures, packed with value-added features.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, and developed directly in response to extensive feedback from both installers and end-users, these new racks will be available with threaded rails – M6 for Europe and M10 for US markets – instead of the traditional cage nuts.
Casings incorporate knock-outs for fan trays and cooling systems, which can be retro-fitted, together with a series of other cut out panels, allowing full adaptability and customisation for any specific application.
CLD Distribution
CLD Distribution – established experts in cables, connectors, lamps and LED light sources – will showcase several new and exciting products.
Osram’s latest range of architectural LEDs will be featured, including the very successful ‘flex’ LED, available as both RGB and IP rated LED tape, with CLD being among the first in the UK to stock this range.
Also new, and highly visible on the stand, will be the Osram Kreios G new LED luminaire which offers spectacular effects, and is the first LED module suitable for use in gobo projectors. Kreios G, with its high light output, exceptional durability and compact design, is an obvious and cost-effective replacement for traditional 50W halogen luminaires. Visitors can also see the latest range of Osram GU10 and MR11 retrofit LED light sources.
CLD offers an expanded range of Comus cables, featuring its own brand of CAT 5, speaker, mic and instrument cable, specified to CLD’s high standards and manufactured in Europe to guarantee quality and durability.
Pro Audio Stash
Their new and unique R8010 19” Slide-and-Rotate racking system is another ‘must see’ on the stand.
Cleverly allowing 19” rack set-ups to be simply slid forward from the install position and then rotated through 90°, the system provides ultimate flexibility for installations in tight and/or difficult to access spaces, solving cable management and ventilation conundrums for installers and system integrators, and offering complete accessibility for inspection, maintenance or repair.
The Slide-and-Rotate racking system is the optimum solution for any location where space is at a premium, e.g. AV installations on cruise ships, where the rack needs to be locked into position with the base plate being screwed to a solid surface, or in clubs, theatres and studios, where installation options are limited.
