Prism Sound, manufacturer of premium-quality interfaces and converters for the recording and broadcast markets, has appointed Rag Time as its distributor in the Lebanon.
Established in 1990 by owner Omar El Sayed, the Beirut-based company distributes professional audio systems and solutions to studios and musicians in the Lebanon and Syria. The company’s product range covers four key areas – Music Technology (Workstations); Music Instruments; Pro-Audio and Computers and Accessories.
Since its appointment, Rag Time has already sold two Prism Sound flagship ADA-8XR multichannel converters to its customers. This award-winning A/D D/A converter operates at sampling rates up to 192kHz. The unit can be configured in numerous ways using plug-in modules to suite a wide variety of applications. It can also act as a high resolution Pro Tools interface for recording or post-production – and can similarly work with a wide range of other popular Digital Audio Workstations including Logic, Cubase, Nuendo and others.
“Prism Sound’s range of recording and post production products ideally suits our customer profile and compliments other equipment that we already stock,” says Omar El Sayed. “We are delighted to be representing a brand that carries so much respect for its build quality and audio fidelity. Having these products as part of our range means we can now offer our customers a complete studio solution.”
Alongside the ADA-8XR converters, Rag Time is also stocking Prism Sound’s Orpheus FireWire computer interface and products from its popular Maselec range of equalizers, mic pre amps and compressors.
