Members in the Film Artistes Association section of BECTU and at the Royal Shakespeare Company and English National Ballet have all agreed pay rises with effect from 1 April.
The union’s FAA members will benefit from a 5 per cent increase on their rates in an agreement which replaces that introduced in 2007. The FAA section is part of BECTU’s London Production Division.
Meanwhile, in the Arts and Entertainment Division, members at the RSC will see their rates increase by 3 per cent this month; negotiations at the English National Ballet have concluded with agreement on a 2.7 per cent rise.
Inflation rates for February published last month showed that RPI had fallen to 0.0 per cent (0.1 per cent in January) with CPI up to 3.2 per cent (3.0 per cent in January).
The union organises its members in five Divisions: Arts and Entertainment, BBC, Independent Broadcasting, London Production and Regional Production.
