The RevEAL CW colour-mixing washlight, the first product from Prism Projection and the award winner for Best Debuting Lighting Product at last year’s LDI Show in Orlando, is now available in the UK.
Designed to offer unparalleled colour rendering and colour repeatability in a compact, well engineered and environmentally friendly package, the RevEAL CW overcomes many of the problems found in other LED fixtures, in particular being designed to project a beam of light rather than just creating a wash of light – a range of field angles are available. Within the beam, the fixture offers colour mixing of excellent colour uniformity, without colour separation. The fixture’s LED sources allow a white colour temperature that is tunable from 1,800K to 10,000K with a colour rendering index exceeding 95. The RevEAL CW also monitors and corrects its output, giving completely consistent colour and intensity output even over a long working life – this estimated at 50,000 hours at 70% average output.
Physically, the RevEAL CW is just 252mm wide and 655mm long, weighing just 9.1kg and available in black, white or a range of custom colours.
Delivering an average of 46 Lumens per Watt, the RevEAL CW is the ideal choice for display, exhibition and architectural lighting, with no waste (colour filters, lamps) generated during the fixture’s life, and with no degrading ultraviolet or uncomfortable infrared wavelengths in the fixture’s output.
“The beam of the RevEAL was what first drew our eye to the fixture at LDI last year,” comments White Light’s Managing Director, Bryan Raven, “even before further exploration revealed how much work the Prism team have done to overcome the problems inherent in so many other LED fixtures. We are delighted to now be able to offer these lights in the UK, where we hope they will appeal to anyone looking for a robust, reliable, low-energy fixture for architectural or exhibition lighting.”
