Having enjoyed success at the recent PLASA Focus Show in Leeds, lighting supplier White Light is now bringing the same extensive range of lighting products from the many manufacturers it distributes in the UK to the 2010 ABTT Theatre Show in London. The show takes place on Wednesday June 16th and Thursday June 17th at the Royal Horticultural Halls, close to Victoria Station.
Making one of its first public appearances in the UK will be Robert Juliat’s revolutionary Aledin LED profile spot – the familiar body and beam quality of a standard Juliat lantern, but with an LED light source that runs so cool you can fit the fixture with gobos made out of plastic! Aledin will be shown alongside the award-winning RevEAL colour-mixing LED washlight that is already attracting great attention in this country, plus the JB A7 Zoom moving LED washlight.
Other LED technology on show will include the LDDE LedCyc9 cyclorama lighting panel, and the Coemar StageLite LED FX asymmetric floodlight. Both products will be shown alongside others from their respective ranges, including Coemar’s Infinity Spot M, ACL M and Infinity Wash S moving lights, and LDDE’s SpectraWow+ LED washlight. White Light’s own Fusion672 visual LED batten – which has become a ‘must-have’ feature of many corporate events and parties – will also be on display.
In the control field, White Light will be showing the ArKaos range of media servers, for which the company was recently appointed exclusive UK distributor. ArKaos’ range is designed to provide flexible, powerful options at all price levels, whether a software-only solution or a complete hardware-and-software media server package. Also on show will be the Clarity lighting control system from LSC, a powerful lighting controller that also provides excellent integration with media servers when required. Powerful DMX and network solutions from both LSC and ELC will also be on stand, including the ELC FocusHand 3 remote and MiniStore and ShowStore show recording/playback systems. These will be complemented by wireless DMX options from Wireless Solution, including the new G4 transmitters and receivers.
Those looking at more traditional lighting fixtures and equipment are not forgotten: Robert Juliat’s Victor and Lutin will be on show, as will the WL/Robert Juliat 350LFX effects projector coupled to the brand new VSFX3 optical effect, a dramatic re-design and update of the long-established VSFX system. 6” and 8” Pro scrollers from Rainbow, and the Unique 2.1, Tiny Fogger and Power Tiny haze and smoke machines from Look Solutions will also be on display, as will trussing products from Tomcat’s One range, and White Light’s own award-winning Snow Machine.
Finally, White Light will be showing the RSC’s remarkable, award-winning Lightlock moving light stabilisation device. Designed to counteract the movement induced in short bars or trusses by the movement of moving lights, Lightlock is one of those devices that just appears to work by magic. You may never need its capabilities – but the moment you do, there is nothing else like it.
This comprehensive range of lighting equipment can be found on White Light’s stands, 33 and 11 in The Lindley Hall. Further information about the show, for which free tickets are available for those pre-registering, can be found at www.abtttheatreshow.co.uk.
